Dr. Pollock’s years of experience includes the leadership of private for-profit and non-profit schools and small retail businesses. Her background includes her licensure as a Clinical Social Worker and her work with children and families.   This work was recognized by the World Health Organization and she was included in the committee to redefine ADHD criteria for the ICD-10 diagnostic criteria and codes.  Dr. Pollock has written numerous articles for national publications and wrote a monthly parenting column for the Garden Oaks Gazette in Houston, TX for 13 years. Dr. Pollock has consulted with schools across the United States and has been an international speaker/consultant to school systems/organizations in Sweden, China, Brazil, Mexico and Ghana.  She continues to serve on local, state and national non-profit boards including Montessori for Social Justice, the American Montessori Society ‘s Regional Action Commission and Texas Advocacy and Education for Montessori (TEAM) and the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce.
