Cribs and Floor Beds: Looking at Early Sleep Environments through a Montessori Lens

Katherine Sullivan

Description

Katie will explore three critical components of a Montessori parenting approach— the prepared adult, the prepared environment, and the child. She will also touch on fundamental information about infant sleep. Following this, Katie will delve into how understanding Montessori parenting and infant sleep development can guide the choices made regarding a child’s early sleep environment. Attendees will gain insights into the concept of a floor bed, its validity as an option from an early age, and the ability to view caregiving decisions through a Montessori lens.
