Focus on What’s Strong & Not What’s Wrong

Iñaki & Kit Malvar Llamas

Description

In this video, viewers are invited to explore a compassionate approach to parenting and teaching rooted in the belief that “we can’t make our children behave better by making them feel worse”—because “when children feel better, they’ll do better.” Through memorable acronyms and reflective guidance, you’ll learn how to compassionately understand what’s behind your T.R.I.G.G.E.R.S., especially in moments when children seem to push your buttons. You’ll discover how to reframe those triggers as G.L.I.M.P.S.E.S.—indicators of potential strengths in your child that need gentle direction and support—and how to recognize the natural strengths in both yourself and your children using W.I.S.E.N. clues. Most importantly, you’ll be equipped to transform conflict into connection by turning your triggers into G.L.I.M.M.E.R.S., focusing on what’s strong instead of what’s wrong, and building authentic relationships before any correction takes place. This video offers practical tools and heartfelt insights to help you grow alongside your child with empathy, awareness, and respect.
