GO FROM ALL CAPS to no caps: How to give your child the best start in phonics

Katy Wright

Description

The pendulum swings in education regarding how we teach reading have been quite severe. Luckily, we are back to phonics again, but there’s a problem: one of the first skills taught and assessed is capital letter naming. Why? Discover a better strategy that is easy, affordable, and over 100 years old. This session welcomes anyone who works with kids aged 2–10, including parents, grandparents, caregivers, preschool teachers, elementary teachers, and more.
