Language of Reverence: Exploring the Power of Language

Letty Rising, Elizabeth Slade

Description

Discover the profound impact of language on personal growth and community well-being. The words we choose to use with and about children don’t just reflect our thoughts; they shape them. Through a deliberate examination and thoughtful revision of our word choices, we can transform our approach to engaging with children at home and school. This shift in language affects not only the individual development of children but also fosters a positive, inclusive atmosphere. By becoming attuned to verbal expression, we can influence attitudes, encourage constructive behaviors, and create an environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
