Miriam Magre Loren has a master’s degree in Biology and one in Education, as well as several courses in Psychology and the credential from the AMS (American Montessori Society) in Elementary Education.
She has thirteen years of formal teaching experience in different countries (Spain, England, US, The Netherlands and Costa Rica) and different educational systems (IB and Montessori). She worked as a lead teacher in two public Montessori schools: first in Houston, Texas, where she was awarded Teacher of the Year, and then in Pijnacker, the Netherlands. She is currently an Elementary I lead teacher in a Montessori private school in Costa Rica.
In addition, she runs an educational consultancy (Towards Montessori) for schools and individuals and also collaboratesbas a consultant with Ilaz Montessori School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
She presented at Montessori International Conferences such as the “PMET Public Montessori Educators of Texas Conference,” “The Montessori Event 2023 (AMS),” “Congreso Internacional Montessori” and she is excited to be back at the Childhood Potential Online Montessori Conference.
