Family Meetings Made Simple: Building Peaceful Homes Together

Jeanne-Marie Paynel

Description

We all want to live in a peaceful home and have an easy-going, satisfying, and joyful family life…

We also know that what happens at home is the foundation for our children’s immediate and long-term success. No matter its makeup, a family resembles any big company or small business. It needs a plan and meetings to follow through, evaluate objectives, and find solutions for the inevitable hurdles.

Introducing the Family Meeting.

Learn what, why, and how to have consistent and effective Family Meetings in your home. These are the brick-and-mortar of any Positive Discipline practicing home. All family members will learn to communicate their needs and wants clearly and find solutions to everyday family life dilemmas.

Family Meetings provide an opportunity to teach children valuable social and life skills for a solid lifelong foundation.

Jeanne-Marie Paynel, M.Ed, is a Parenting Mentor and Home Consultant guiding parents to let go of feeling overwhelmed and enjoy raising self-sufficient and resilient children with ease. She’s the host of The Art of Parenting podcast and founder of Your Parenting Mentor (formerly Voila Montessori) where she guides expectant parents, caregivers, and parents of young children to prepare their homes and themselves for children to thrive during the first years of life. She believes that a supportive and peaceful atmosphere at home will allow every child to flourish as an independent, confident, and capable learner. She combines her three passions: Montessori, Conscious Parenting, and Positive Discipline. Her mission is to help parents appreciate the true importance of their role – not as servants or teachers, but as supporters and guides of their children’s natural development.

Lucie Brixi Tamášová is first and foremost a mother of three children (and two wonderful bonus children). For more than 17 years, she has been searching for kind, practical, and research-based answers to the everyday challenges of parenting and helping make them accessible to families around the world.

She is the founder of international projects including Childhood Potential Club, Montessori Parenting, and the Childhood Potential Conference, through which she connects parents, educators, and leading child development experts from across the globe. Through her work, she promotes a respectful and conscious approach to children while helping parents navigate everyday life with greater calm, understanding, and confidence.

Alongside her international work, Lucie also leads educational projects in Kenya and Guinea through the NGO Centrum Dialog, helping provide access to quality education for children with limited opportunities. She deeply believes that conscious support of children has the power to positively shape the future of society as a whole.
