Setting Compassionate Boundaries and Limits

Shruti Kumar

Description

We often talk about connection, respect, and emotional attunement and yet one of the biggest pain points families experience is the day-to-day challenge of holding boundaries without power struggles, threats, or frustration. I’d love to help parents and teachers understand:

– Why boundaries matter for emotional safety and healthy development
– How to hold limits with warmth, clarity, and confidence
– How to reduce meltdowns and resistance by meeting underlying needs
– How to shift from controlling behaviour to teaching skills
– How to regulate ourselves so we can co-regulate with children
– Practical scripts, examples, and real-life scenarios they can use immediately

Shruti’s talk would be rooted in positive parenting, self-regulation, connection, and practical, compassionate discipline with tools that feel both kind and effective.
