“Why Won’t You Listen to Me?”

When we are with children, this question may arise whether spoken or unspoken. In this presentation, we will bring focus to this question and its many textures and depths that are there to explore. Through a process of reflection and sensing of ourselves, we can begin to observe the origins of this question within us, consider our motivations, and what thoughts and feelings may be hidden within our asking. We often speak of the child’s readiness, but here we will bring light to our own. So bring your detective lens, your curiosity, and a willingness to shift from what you know, to what is yet to be revealed.
