Your guide to being a Montessori adult from birth to age 24

Simone Davies

Wouldn’t you love a guidebook about how children develop so you know what to expect and how you can best support them as they change? Then join Simone Davies for a session where she’ll be diving into a very useful framework Dr Montessori developed called The Four Planes of Development. This was Simone’s lifeline as a Montessori parent as her children developed through the baby, toddler, preschooler, elementary, and adolescent years and now as young adults too. By the end of the session you will have an introduction to this framework, understand the needs and characteristics of children at different ages, and how you can support them.

Simone Davies is the author of “The Montessori Toddler” book and co-writer of “The Montessori Baby” book. She runs a popular blog “The Montessori Notebook”, hosts the “The Montessori Notebook podcast,” and currently runs parent-child Montessori classes in Amsterdam at her school Jacaranda Tree Montessori. She is also mother to two young adults. Finding Montessori helped her so much when raising her own children and it’s now her passion to help other parents introduce these ideas in their homes too.

Lucie Brixí Tamášová is first of all a mother of three (+two) children. She has made a significant impact through her NGO, Centrum Dialog, which provides education to underprivileged children in Kenya and Guinea.
